The constant involvement in change processes, together with the need for, and the will to be a part of such processes, probably represents the most immediate and widespread perception derived from the consolidation of the post-industrial society.
For a long time now, it has been evident that great historical changes and continuous short-term adjustments represent a common and inevitable scenario for the corporate world. The organizational gigantism, the mechanical effectiveness of labor processes, the extreme division of labor, the economic immorality turned into praxis, are being progressively replaced by the intellectualization of labor, the rise of new subjectivities, the development of a widespread ethical tension, and the birth of flexible and creative organizational populations which announce the advent of a new social structure.
