History
NEXT.Strumenti per l’innovazione was first edited in 1998 as a result of the collaboration between S3.Studium, Sviluppo Italia and the chair of Sociology of Work of “La Sapienza” University in Rome,  later joined by Formez, a prestigious Italian service centre.
NEXT mission is to bring together innovation instruments from different fields of knowledge and organization.

Cooperation with Inail
Starting from n. 23 – 2009, NEXT has developed a collaboration with Inail in order to promote the“safety culture”, a key factor in the safeguard of workers’ health and safety.

Objectives
In operative terms, NEXT intends to provide a support of ideas and critical analysis to those involved in the study and practice of innovative activities.
In practical terms, NEXT intends to build a permanent benchmarking of positive experiences as a possible example and operational instrument for other enterprises.

Graphic Project
In 1998, NEXT graphic project was commissioned to publisher Franco Maria Ricci a collaboration which was strongly desired in order to emphasize a deep sensibility towards the role of aesthetics in post-industrial employment and life in general.
Franco Maria Ricci is the most prestigious and refined Italian publisher. His volumes, through which he renews the great Bodonian art, are objects of worship and collections.

Format

NEXT has an elegant pocket-format (cm. 11,30 x 16,30) which is quite unusual for a journal.
This turns the publication into a small volume with sharp, clear fonts, enjoyable images and handy usage.
